New Harbor Capital Portfolio Company Blueprint Prep Hires CFO and CMO
New Harbor Capital (“New Harbor”) is excited to announce that portfolio company Blueprint Prep (“Blueprint”, “the Company”) has hired Robert (Rob) Cockburn as Chief Financial Officer and Scott Cederbaum as Chief Marketing Officer.
Blueprint Prep is the leading platform for high-stakes test prep in the U.S., offering live and self-paced online courses, private tutoring, self-study materials, and application consulting services for pre-law, pre-med, and medical school students, as well as Qbanks for residents and practicing physicians, PAs, and NPs via its acquisition of Rosh Review.

Robert Cockburn, Chief Financial Officer, Blueprint Prep
Rob Cockburn brings extensive financial leadership experience to his position as the Chief Financial Officer of Blueprint. After graduating from UVA’s Darden School of Business with an MBA, Rob spent over a decade in investment banking, helping middle-market media and technology companies with growth capital and M&A transactions. Seeking to apply his analytical skills in a CFO capacity, Rob then transitioned to the education sector. He served as the CFO of Kaplan Ventures, Kaplan Test Prep, and Credly Inc. Following Credly’s acquisition by Pearson, Rob led the financial operations of Pearson’s Workforce Solutions division.
Scott Cederbaum, Chief Marketing Officer, Blueprint Prep
Scott Cederbaum brings a unique blend of analytical expertise and creative passion to his role as the Chief Marketing Officer of Blueprint. After starting his career as a statistician in sales and marketing analytics, Scott transitioned to the education sector, driven by a desire to help learners find the tools to jumpstart successful, fulfilling careers. He has focused his career on senior leadership roles at companies including 2U/EdX, Noodle, INE, and Coursera. Scott holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor, a Master’s degree in Applied Statistics from the University of California – San Diego, and an MBA from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill.
